The narration was easy to listen to, and I enjoyed the reader’s clear pronunciation of many French and German words I had only ever seen in print.
Hands down the best professor I’ve ever had, he has earned my respect and then some. I learned more in this class than I learned in my other 4 this semester, combined.

Barry’s voice is warm and inviting. His smooth narration allows you to see the beach, smell the salt air and hear the wind whipping through the sand and the waves crashing against the shore… you can actually smell the coffee brewing on the stove in the tiny kitchen.

Just heard [a] sample… makes me want to hear more and I wrote the damn thing!

I enjoyed this class a lot and learned valuable things that I will take with me in my future classes and jobs. We had a lot of time to get our projects done which was really helpful to make sure we produce some of our best work.

Brett is a consummate professional who completely understood the feel of my audio project. He wields Pro Tools like a sword and helped me bring the audio of my animation project into being with just the right timing, effects, and layering.

This class was so much fun! Not only did Professor Brett Barry foster a productive environment but I can honestly say, this was one of the very few classes I learned a lot in, and made work that I could be proud of. The hands on experience was amazing but I never felt that I couldn’t ask for help when needed. Overall, an amazing class. 10/10!

Barry shines as the voice of Beston, a naturalist. Barry’s narration captures the poetry of Beston’s lyrical passages, in which he expresses views on wildlife and conservation that are decades ahead of their time.

Brett Barry turned a subject I really couldn’t have cared less about into something I find fascinating… and has made me open to the possibility of doing this work professionally.

There is so much hands on learning in this class and the professor does a great job of teaching as we go along and solving all potential technical issues. He is experienced, patient, and a great teacher.
